Student Reporter: The Press at the School and the Community

Among the great challenges for the Amazon region, especially the State of Pará, in the coming decades is the construction and materialization of a model that will enable rural youth to be trained and trained to improve the Human Development Index (HDI). In this scenario, this proposal aims to train young reporters from rural areas of the municipalities of Bragança, Viseu, Traquateua, Cachoeira do Piriá and Augusto Corrêa. The actions are made up of general purpose workshops - handling of office software and metarecycling (trash processing) - and broadcasting specific. The proposal has the support of the Ministry of Communications.

 

Science, Technology and Innovation Museum of UFPA (MCTI / UFPA)

It is a space aimed at the dissemination of Science, Technology and Innovation within the UFPA. Idealized and coordinated by Antonio Maia de Jesus Chaves Neto, professor of PRODERNA, MCTI frequently receives children and adolescents from public and private schools and is open to the general public. Its collection consists of the collections: Ancient Egypt; Tyrannosaurus Rex Parts; Historical and modern cities; Ancient Egypt Gods; Physics Classes; Ancient and general history. Its activities are supported by UFPA in conjunction with the Coordination Foundation for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).
